Jesse Boykins III has been doing his thing on the independent R&B sing for a few years now.

Lately he’s been on the road touring, appearing on 106 & Park, and working in the studio on music.

If you’ve been fortunate enough to see Jesse perform live, he’s opened most of his shows with a cover of Outkast’s “Prototype.”

What we thought was just a song he liked to do in concert found its way into one of Jesse’s studio sessions.
