Dead Body Found In NFL Star’s Basement! (Video) (Pics)
Five Years Ago Aaron Hernandez Was Arrested. Yesterday a Dead Body Was Found In The Home Of Janoris Jenkins, Hernandez’s Teammate At Florida University and current cornerback for the New York Giants….how crazy is that?!?!
A man’s body was found in the basement of Janoris’s New Jersey home while the NFL star was out of town. The body found was 25 year old Roosevelt Rene, a family friend living with Jenkins at the time. Possible suffocation and strangulation maybe the cause of death:
Roosevelt was an up and coming music/hip-hop producer under the name Trypps Beatz:
The body was discovered in the basement by a worker at the house while Jenkins was away at Giants mini camp.
Police just released a statement that Janoris Jenkins’s older brother, William Jenkins is a “person of interest” in this case, stating, “William Jenkins is a person of interest in relation to dead body case at his brother’s house.”
And what’s crazy is according to jail records obtained by TMZ Sports, 34-year-old William Jenkins was arrested in upstate NY on June 26 at 1:46 AM ET … only 9 hours BEFORE the Roosevelt’s body was discovered!
AND Janoris has ties to St. Louis…he started his NFL career here. Jenkins played at North Alabama before being drafted in the second round by the St. Louis Rams in 2012. He played four seasons with the St. Louis Rams and the last two seasons with the Giants.
And you know everybody was ready to label Janoris “Aaron Hernandez JR.” but it looks like he’s in the clear, he is NOT a suspect but he’s not 100% out of the woods yet. The police want to question him to find out what he knows about the murder.
