Dascha Polanco Facing Assault Charges

Orange Is The New Black star Dascha Polanco is facing real life legal issues.
She appeared in court on four accounts of assault and harassment, E! Online reports.
The case involves a 17-year-old girl named Michelle Cardona, who accused Polanco of scratching up her arms and pulling her hair, according to Page Six.
Her lawyer Gerald Lefcourt defends the 33-year-old actress saying this is all a plot to get money.
‘We expect the case to be dismissed,’ he told People.
This is an ironic case, given the actress plays a woman in jail on the small screen.
If the claims are false, we hope she won’t be getting locked up in real life.

She will be playing ‘Marty Maraschino’ with Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens as co-stars.
The Fox production with air on January 31st, 2016 on Fox.

Tyra Banks is set to reprise her role in Disney Channel’s ‘Life-Size’ sequel, Variety reports.
‘There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much! I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve,’ she explained.
In true Tyra mogul style, she will also executive produce the movie. The original movie featured Lindsay Lohan, but they haven’t begun casting for the younger role in the new version as of yet. Banks began talks of the sequel back in 2010, but there were production delays.
‘One thing is it’s a very precious project to the Disney Channel so they’ve been doing a lot of re-writes and making sure that this script is really right. I’m really excited about it. I think ‘Life-Size’ is so popular that it can be a feature film because it has such a cult following, so I’m really interested to see what the ratings are going to do for that. I think it’s going to be a blockbuster on TV,’ The Fab Life host explained.
The movie is slated to premiere holiday of 2016. Brings us right back to our own childhood nostalgia. Were you a fan of the original?
