At least five Black Lives Matter protesters were shot by white supremacists during peaceful protests for Jamar Clark, the 24-year-old man gunned down by Minneapolis police officers last week.
Jamar Clark was taken off life support on Monday evening with his parents Irma Jean and James Hill by his bedside. The 24-year-old was shot in the head when two officers attempted to restrain him during a domestic incident early Sunday in North Minneapolis.
Witnesses claim Jamar Clark was thrown on the floor and restrained by two officers. While allegedly handcuffed, he was shot in the head "execution-style" by one of the officers.
Jamar Clark is now in the intensive care unit at Hennepin County Medical Center and has been pronounced brain dead after his near fatal encounter with the police.
