St. Louis citizens know all too well about what is going on in Minneapolis so it was no shock to see many shops their support and protest in honor of George Floyd.
Hundreds of protesters showed up in front of the St. Louis Metro Police department to downtown chanting “We are George Floyd”, “Black Lives Matter” and “No Justice, No Peace”.
While former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Murder and Manslaughter in connection with Floyd’s death, history suggests that the fight is not over.
