Improving security on the Metro Transit system remains a top priority for Metro, Bi-State Development, our regional elected officials and Metro’s law enforcement partners. Additional progress has been made in recent months to make the system safer for riders and employees. The new security agreement signed in February outlines the recommendations for various steps to be taken, and an independent Metro Security Scorecard tracking implementation indicates that Metro, in collaboration with its police partners, has made significant progress across all categories.
