Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman was sentenced to life in prison plus 30 years. El Chapo was also ordered to forfeit $12.6 BILLION to the government. That’s the money he made from his criminal drug enterprise. El Chapo was found guilty for engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise, conspiracy to launder narcotics proceeds, international distribution of cocaine, heroin, marijuana and other drugs and use of firearms.
