SERIOUSLY: Mitch McConnell Sees Obama As A Form Of Reparations
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s comments when it comes to reparations are way off the mark. Tuesday afternoon, McConnell was asked about reparations. “We’ve tried to deal with our original sin of slavery by fighting a civil war, passing landmark civil rights legislation. We’ve elected an African American president. We are always a work in progress in this country, but nobody alive currently is responsible for that and I don’t think we should be trying to figure out how to compensate for it.”
