CANCELED: Tiffany Haddish Calls Off Show in ATL

Tiffany Haddish canceled a show at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre over the state’s “heartbeat” abortion bill. In statement, Tiffany said, “After much deliberation, I am postponing my upcoming show in Atlanta. I love the state of Georgia, but I need to stand with women and until they withdraw Measure HB481, I cannot in good faith perform there.” The bill makes abortions illegal as soon as the embryonic or fetal heartbeat can be detected. It is expected to go into effect on Jan. 1. Governors in Ohio, Kentucky, Louisiana and Mississippi have also signed similar versions of this bill earlier this year.

The Fox Theatre will be offering refunds.
