HERE WE GO!: Jussie Police Documents Unsealed
Chicago PD unsealed 460 pages worth of documents from Jussie’s case. Some have information that had not been made public. Info included was witness accounts from both a Sheraton hotel security guard and a neighbor. The accounts, which were never released, suggest that there likely could have been a White male involved in Jussie’s attack, as he claimed from the jump. Sheraton’s on-duty security guard says he saw a male, about 6ft tall, coming towards him quickly. The man was wearing all black, a ski-mask with the eyes cut out and from the skin around his eyes, looked to be White. He also noticed a stockier man wearing dark clothing, running and pointing to the first man. He could not make out the second man’s race. A third male of an unknown race was seen at the bottom of the stairs, bent over appearing to pick something up off the street or maybe fixing the cuff of his pants. The men did not enter the hotel so the guard finished his rounds and went back inside. There is also a witness account from a female neighbor who said she went out to walk her dogs at around 12:30am, an hour and a half before Jussie’s attack, and saw a White man standing where the attack allegedly took place. She says it appeared that he and another gentleman were smoking a cigarette. She also says that she saw a rope hanging from his coat. Also, CPD believed Jussie’s injuries were self-inflicted. After the attack, CPD says Jussie did not tell the doorman what happened to him. But in the documents released, the doorman says that Jussie told him “I just got jumped” shortly after the attack and appeared to have visible injuries (cuts and scrapes on his face) and snow in the hood of his coat. Jussie told police on January 29th that he was attacked. He was charged with filing a false police report on February 20th. All charges were dropped March 26th. The FBI announced their investigation as to why the charges were dropped the next day.
