Taraji’s stepmother Angie, came into her life when Taraji was 16. Taraji’s father and Angie worked hard for years to buy a home and bought one in Maryland. After Taraji’s father died in 2006, Angie was left alone and the house became rundown. Taraji decided it was time to upgrade it. She calls Angie a giver who was completely surprised by the home makeover. Taraji gave her a brand new living and dining room.
