HUH: Jussie Smollett Dismissal Makes R. Kelly Plea Bargain Unlikely

R. Kelly’s lawyers are losing sleep because Jussie got off. It may mean prosecutors are desperate for a win. Steven Greenberg, R. Kelly’s lawyer, said, “I think it makes it more difficult for a friendly disposition because they’re going to be extremely reluctant to admit they brought these cases with scant evidence or that there are any other problems.” Greenberg added State’s Attorney Kim Foxx could look at R. Kelly’s case as a chance to redeem themselves.
