HUH: R. Kelly Denies Interfering with Azriel Clary Meeting

Azriel Clary was supposed to meet with her family for the first time in years last Saturday night in Chicago. But R. Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Greenberg, says the plans fell through after Azriel insisted on changing the location at the last minute. Azriel wanted the meeting to go down at Trump Tower Chicago in a conference room. The previous location was a different hotel a block away. Greenberg says Azriel decided on a different location a day before the scheduled meeting. It was reported that R. Kelly insisted on the change but his lawyer says that’s not true. Azriel suggested Trump Tower so she could control the media circus she thought would accompany her family. When her family got word that she wanted to change locations, they pulled the plug on the meeting all together. Greenberg says R. Kelly was never going to be at the family meeting. Joycelyn Savage’s scheduled meeting with her family was canceled for the same reason.
