ABC is rebooting New York Undercover. Malik Yoba and Lauren Valez from the original Fox series are coming back. MC Lyte is joining the cast too. She’ll play Lt. April Freeman, “a hard-driving boss with a genius IQ.” New York Undercover creator Dick Wolf has signed on as an executive producer for the show.
