Trump's Delusion in Houston, Joel Osteen Finally Speaks [Podcast]

On today’s episode of The Scoop, DJ Kut and Online Editor Bobby Pen (sitting in for Kiki The First Lady) discuss the latest misses regarding Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts.

President Trump finally took his talents to Texas yesterday and left people confused as to whether he’s still campaigning or truly serving as our Commander in Chief. Trump bypassed Houston to visit Corpus Christi to address victims of this historical storm, and instead of telling citizens how he intends to help, he thanks them for “a great turnout?”

Huh?!

It’s one thing to have the government mislead you, but it’s a sad day when the church misleads. Houston Megachurch pastor Joel Osteen was held accountable for his apparent lack of support for those affected by the Hurricane. This morning he hit the Today Show to formally address criticism and open the doors of the church to those in need, but the real issue is that he claims his church which seats 16,000 people each week had been open the entire time. LIES! Several sources have photo and video evidence that his multi-million dollar refurbished arena was dry, accessible and empty. I guess it’s a good thing he’s offered his facility now, but where do you draw the line to determine whether his truly about ministry or the money?
