They say third times the charm. Let’s hope so for R&B legend Stevie Wonder. He and fiance Tomeeka Bracy jumped the broom to wedded bliss last weekend at Hotel Bel-Air in L.A. This was a low key but lavish ceremony in Los Angeles. Why so little press or media coverage? According to family members who attended,  “Everyone, including family had to sign a confidentiality agreement that threatens a $1 million fine if you talked to the media. I cannot quite afford one million.”

The 25-time Grammy winner is making sure no loose lips to sink his ship!

Around 160 guests were in attendance, along with singers Al Green and John Legend.  The reception was elaborately decorated with various flower arrangements and string lights. Wonder paid tribute to his late mother, Lula Hardaway, who died in 2006:”He said a few words, looked up and said, “Momma you’d be proud, I got it right this time

We definitely rooting for you Stevie. He’s 67. She’s 42.

Reports from the hush hush nuptials Babyface also reportedly sang his hit “Whip Appeal” at the reception. Guests were seen grooving and clapping along to his performance.

The Sun reports Pharrell Williams and Usher also performed, before Wonder, took the stage to serenade his new wife, himself.

Wonder and Bracy have two children together and started dating in 2012 after the singer split from his second wife, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris. Wonder’s first wife was songwriter Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972.
