Born Cassius Clay, Muhammed Ali is known as the greatest heavyweight fighter ever. Ali was Heavyweight champion three times. Known for his slick mouth and great fighting skills, Ali also made a name for himself outside the boxing ring. He was criticized for his stand on the Vietnam War. Sadly Ali died a year ago today after battling Parkinson’s Disease for over thirty years.
Ali once said “I think maybe Parkinson’s is God’s way of reminding me what is important. It slowed me down and caused me to listen rather than talk.”
Here’s a video clip of some great Ali footage
