“Black Ballerina” Misty Copeland Gets Married!

Congratulations! Our girl Misty Copeland has jumped the broom!

The famous ballerina, who is known for breaking racial barriers and body stereotypes in the ballet and dance world, tied the knot Sunday with her longtime love, Olu Evans. The couple, who have been together for 10 years, got married at the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach, overlooking the ocean in a gorgeous ceremony. It wasn’t a huge event, it was small and intimate with only 100 guests. Always fashion forward, Misty’s gown was designed by Inbal Dror, which she accessorized with shoes designed by Christian Louboutin. The decorations included white and pink roses as well as pink hydrangeas.  Much love Misty! Many happy years and happy healthy children to you both!
