The IRS just lit her up for a million dollars in back taxes and had to served three months in a federal prison in 2013. If that wasn’t enough NOW her home state of New Jersey slapped her with a tax lien for nearly $500,000….$438,221 to be exact! Rumors has it that The Fugees may reunite for a one off tour. I hope so, L Boogie could sure use the money right about now.
The state’s Division of Taxation says Lauryn – owes $438,221, and issued the tax judgment June 30, The state has another open lien against the 41-year-old from 2012 for $446,386.60 though it was unclear Thursday whether the two tax debts were related. I hope they will let Miss Hill get that payment plan going!
