Saint Louis enjoyed another MAY DAY parade, as the streets were filled with families awaiting one of the longest that I can remember May Days. It was a great impact on the community and made me remember why I love Saint Louis, as many know the negative about the city. Very few take the time to embrace the positive of this city. It was warming to see the children smiling and look at the bands and majorettes as something the kids could look forward to when they grow up. Saint Louis native Denise Times graced the parade with her lovely voice, singing the national anthem. As Larry Hughes was one of the parades Grand Marshals.
