Remember when we all heard about Tracy Morgan and that bad accident that almost took his life? Well its been 21 months and Tracy is now taking time to reflect publicly on his mental and physical state during that very difficult/crazy time in his Tracy did an interview with Rolling Stone and had this to say….
“If my funny ever went away, I’d die And I thought I was going to die for a long time. I was in a very dark place. I was sitting right here (the interview was done in Tracy’s Home) contemplating suicide. I couldn’t walk.”
Morgan insisted on leaving the hospital early and continuing his rehabilitation at home. “You go to hospitals to f***ing die,” he says. “If I got to go, I wanted to be in the house with my family.” For the first couple of weeks, he stayed in the second-floor bedroom because he couldn’t go up or down the stairs. “My wife heard all the screaming due to all the pain i was feeling and she’s the one who changed all the bed sheets when I s**t on myself. “I remember the days, I remember them days. Jesus.”
The crazy part is that even though he seems to be fully recovered, he refuses to try to remember anything that happened that night. God isn’t done with you yet Brotha Tracy. Keep on pushing and be strong for the weak and share your story to help others.
