Ephesians 4:31-32 (New King James Version)
“31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
EXPLANATION:
This is a lesson on forgiveness. In the Lord’s Prayer we say, “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” What does that mean? Unless or until I forgive those who have wronged me, I will not be forgiven for the wrongs I have done. The golden rule is clear here, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
