I know most of you have seen or heard about Denzil Washington playing the famous boxer that was wrongfully accused of murder with another black man. It’s a touching story both inside hollywood and out. What would you do if many years were taken from you not being able to get it back? Being attacked in prison losing a eye or even your family? It’s a tough story to watch and accept. I offer my prayers to his family, friends and fans. It’s sad to report Legendary boxer Rubin “Hurricane” Carter has died at the 76. The American middleweight boxer was known for his wrongful conviction for a triple murder and became a national symbol of racial injustice. He was exonerated after spending 20-years in prison. Denzel Washington starred in the 1999 movie inspired by his story.
He died in his sleep Sunday in Toronto, Canada after battling prostate cancer according to TheGrio.
