James Avery “Fresh Prince” Actor Dead At 65 [VIDEO]

Sad news to share on this first day of the new year. Actor, James Avery, best known for his role as “Uncle Phil” on “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” has passed according to CNN.

TMZ reported that Avery had just undergone open-heart surgery for an undisclosed illness and has died from complications.

Avery has starred on dozens of TV shows over the years like; Grey’s Anatomy, The Closer and  L.A. Law.
